Overview
Upgrade your LT1 build with Torqhead’s Shallow Body Alternator, engineered as a modern replacement for the factory CS144 alternator used in 1992–1997 LT1-powered vehicles. It has an output of 140 amps, as as factory CS144.
Crafted from CNC-machined billet aluminum, this alternator offers a compact design that eliminates the need for valve cover clearance mods — allowing you to use any small block Chevy valve covers with ease. Whether you're running center bolt or perimeter bolt covers (with adapters), installation is simple.
